"This hotel appears to be situated up on the hill overlooking City Garda and south side of the lake. We had a room with swim up swimming pool which appeared to be with the smallest angle access to the swimming pool and bad exposure to the direct sunshine. Room is spacious with large bathroom and all amenities. "Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap"
