"Was wonderful. Was had to wait awhile to check in, but there was self-service wine and we sat outside in the garden on the beautiful sunny afternoon. The rooms were large and lovely, very comfy beds, large bathroom, the heaters were plenty warm. We did a tour of the winery production and had a heuriger dinner that evening. Situated in a beautiful paet of the Weinvertel, and there are ample opportunities to hike and ride bike. Lots of other wineries nearby as well."

"Hard to find but the staff kindly came to meet us and directed to the apartmemt and car park. We didn't catch her name, but she was very pleasant and very helpful. Top notch for staff helpfulness. The apartment is new with functional kitchen and a nice bathroom. Unfortuate the building is in middle of 2 buildings which are stilll underconstruction. A lot of dust get into our room, and construction noise starts quite early. Alsi there is no air-con, just a couple of small fans. It was so hot...

"Convenient location just off the highway. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Wellness pool and facilities great and we usually had the facilities to ourselves. Light didn’t work in the corridor outside our room and it was sorted within 5 minutes. "

It was built in 1693/94 by Johann Bernhard Fischer of Erlach for Ernst Rüdiger of Starhemberg under the name Jagdschloss Engelhartstetten. In 1725 the castle was purchased by Prince Eugene of Savoy . It received its present appearance under Maria Theresia around 1765 by the court architect Nikolaus Pacassi . The paintings of the Festaal are by Jean-Baptiste Pillement . From 1945 onwards there was an increasing decline of the castle. Since 1980, it has been restored and now serves as an exhibition and venue. In 2016 Schloss Niederweiden, for example, will be one of four locations of the exhibition on the centenary of the death of Emperor Franz Joseph . In the former Lustschlösschen of the Habsburgs exhibition shows on hunting and leisure are shown in the special show. [1] Schloss Niederweiden has been used as a venue for the past years: 15 stately rooms - including a baroque Wilhelminian kitchen - can be rented for private parties and celebrations

"Exceeded all expectations- already planning our return. Incredible location, easy, quick and cheap access to airport; trams and UTrains to get around the city and walkable to local restaurants, shops and landmarks. Room was great size and spotless. Very comfortable, enough plug outlets/lighting options/free wifi and use of fridge (handy to have as there is a supermarket across the street to get snacks) or for any required medication. Made use of gym facilities- incredible view overlooking the city, extensive collection of equipment and nice touch including free bottled water. Breakfast had a great selection of tasty items (the bakery selection alone was incredible) very peaceful and runs until 11:30am!!! Perfect if you want a lie-in. And even without all these key details, we’d return thanks to the staff alone! Def recommend as long as they’ll always have enough space for us to return 😉"
