"This is a lovely home that can accommodate multiple guests. Plenty of room to spread out. Has every amenity. Well-stocked kitchen. There was difficulty reaching the owner to check in. We never received an access code until 45 minutes prior to check in time. It is in a remote area with limited services nearby, which made the situation even more difficult and stressful."

"The property was spotless and has a ton of amenities. The wrap around balcony provides a fantastic view of the Mount Shasta. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property next time you are in Shingletown. The home is located about three minutes from the little downtown where there is a nice little place to get a bite to eat and a drink in the outside beer garden with live music on weekends."

"We only wish we could've stayed longer!! This is an amazing cabin in the woods. It is well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable. There are little added touches that really make it special hammocks in the back, a bottle of wine, coloring books for the kids, and maps of the area. I would highly recommend! Communication was easy and quick."

"The house had cobweb's on light fixtures, vents were dirty, dead bugs in windowsills, air conditioning systems didn’t work well, some rooms were good while others had none, on the last night air conditioning had system error ( which I reported right away as for all issues and took pictures) foosball table was broken, table tennis paddle was broken, projector didn’t work, pool traps were dirty (we had to clean them out) we couldn’t really enjoy the pool because of the infestation of wasps. "Small kitchen with no oven (there was a toaster oven) so don't expect to cook a turkey dinner. But who wants to do that anyway. Very minor item but we could have used a garlic press. Also all the coffee pods were flavored. Very interesting selection if you don't want just coffee flavored coffee. The did have user fillable pods which came in handy since we did bring our own coffee. Comfortable bed and the A/C worked very well. Overall a great little place. "

"My family and I stayed here for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable for all 3 of us and our 2 doggies. The neighborhood was very quiet and it was the perfect location for us. We visited Mineral, Mill Creek, Manton, Twin Meadows, Chester, and Lake Almanor. They have a restaurant/general store walking distance from the cabin. The cabin was very well stocked and even had extra toothbrushes/toothpaste. There was plenty of extra fluffy blankets and towels. The mini split heater works...
