"Wonderful family 2-night stay in the top floor family suite (2 adults 2 children). 2 interconnected rooms each with own bathroom and seating area (couch and coffee table). Coffee and tea making facilities and fridge in each room. Glass of wine and beer on arrival by the pool, which was lovely. Pool towels provided, which was great (pool open all day and very clean). "We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

"Overall this was very good. Friendly staff. Nice big bedroom. All very clean and tidy...although it could do with updating, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean but tired...although well scrubbed. The breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cereals, pastries, meats, cheese etc We didn't eat evening meal but it looked OK, but we went to old town Brive for a look around. Overall excellent stay and especially considering the low cost."
