"We stayed here with our two year old and four month old. Excellent view from the ocean-facing room and very family friendly. The room was very comfortable and the restaurants in the hotel were good. There’s bike hire available for the kids and a very clean indoor pool (outdoor pool closed when we visited as it was winter)"

"Simple minimalist design. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff very polite although communication was a challenge because of the language barrier. Few issues though: Limited room service menu and only available until 10.30. As we arrived late we had to sleep hungry after a very long journey. "Okay we have rated the overall stay as good. The property and rooms were good and comfortable. The staff excellent. BUT the breakfast left sooo much to be desired, not the least of which was what should have been hot food actually being hot, even just warm, but every morning what should have been hot food was stone cold. Memo to restaurant manager- invest in some heat lamps to keep bacon, eggs, sausages pancakes, fish etc at least warm. It was such a let down. Without doubt the coldest hot food...

"Friendly service. The host ladies were very friendly and tried their best to communicate with us. It’s a local traditional inn so don’t expect hotel style amenities and rooms. Only complaint was the noise from neighboring room(s): you wouldn’t hear their conversations but their foot steps and door closing. Hope future visitors would learn to be quieter in such an older, traditional Japanese inn. But anyway the host ladies’ warm hospitality compensated for the annoyance. "

"The check-in time is 3:00 pm and it's a bit strict. If one wants to check-in before 3, the half day rent has to be paid. More or less services are quite good. Rooms are equipped with bare minimum necessary stuff. Access to local food and few nearby restaurants. The breakfast is a bit monotonous and typically not many options. Overall, experience was Ok. "

Holiday Villa by the sea

"Good holiday villa for family with 4 beds, 3 tatami, 2 bedrooms, 2 standalone Japanese toilets, 2 separate shower/bath areas, 2 wash basins, 1 functioning kitchen fully equipped and washing machine with separate dryer. The villa is a bit worn out but clean and functioning. Internet was strong and functioned well. The kitchen area and washing machine smelled slightly moldy. Breakfast was international buffet at their one and only restaurant. There was a swimming pool. You could also access the Sheraton Onsen at a cost. The beach requires a 10 min walk and you can rent an umbrella and plastic chairs on the beach. The villa is situated in the Seagaia Resort and has a tennis academy, golf club and Sheraton hotel . "
