"Friendless of staff"

"First time to Boracay. We’d selected Station 3 as it appeared to be a quieter area. The Coco Loco Hotel was great. The Bar was chill; the ladies serving at the Bar were cheerful, lovely, smiling and happy to chat. The ‘two for one’ drinks (all day long) for guests of the Hotel was a bonus and the music was just the right vibe (combing old with new). Our room was comfortable, good beds, hot shower and quiet. The restaurant served good food and the breakfast selection excellent. All of the staff were so pleasant. It’s been going since 1979 and will be going a long time yet. "

"Amazing property with beautiful views and friendly staff. Very isolated form everything so personal transportation a must as the shuttle service is not convenient. Sits high on a cliff overlooking the water which means. Lots of steps to get to main road at property entrance."

"I liked that this resort was right on the beach and super accessible. I also liked how breakfast was included. Since it is also right on the beach, there are other restaurants and activities to do near by. The staff was also pretty friendly. However, the bathroom could have been cleaner and I didn't like that we had to ask a few times to have trash picked up since there was no basic check-in. We also had a large hibernating spider inside our room and saw a rat outside when we checked in. I also didn't like that we had to haul our luggage down the beach because there is no road directly leading to the resort. "

"I stayed for four nights. The pick up at the airport and boat transfer to the island or efficient and flawlessly executed. Once at the hotel, I was greeted by an extremely friendly staff who throughout my stay did everything they possibly could to make it a pleasure. The hotel itself was in a great location, right on the beach. It was in the middle of everything, most things not more than 5 to 10 minute walk away. The room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The entire resort, including the rooms were kept clean by the staff who seemed to be constantly cleaning. The breakfast had lots of choices and everything I ate was very good. The restaurant and bar seemed to be very nice although I did not use them other than for breakfast. I had an opportunity to swim in the pool, which was very clean and well kept and utilize the beach chairs frequently. The beach staff also was very friendly and accommodating, constantly refilling ice water, spraying aloe or coconut mist and refreshing the towels. Every time you went in the water, you were greeted back at your chairs with a staff member holding your towel open to wrap you in. Nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again if I return.The only negative is that they do not have an elevator. But rest assured that their staff does everything they can to make sure that you don’t have to struggle. They carry your luggage up and down and deliver anything you might need to your room. "
