"We came here the day after our LotR themed wedding and when we arrived, it felt like we stepped right into a Tolkien novel. The lil cottage was about perfect and all rules were clear upon entering. We were a few minute walk away from the shops and I loved that. I strongly recommend anyone stay here is your can, and if we find ourselves in the area again, while I’d love to see the other property I’d be more than happy to stay in the Nest again. "

"We enjoyed our stay, with beautiful views from the balcony, and a very serene and quiet area! located at the foot of the Manitou incline and Barr trail. The home was cozy and very clean. The stairs in and out were a workout, especially after hiking, but we made it! Host was great at communicating and accommodating us! "

"The Villa Motel was great -- nothing fancy (although a seasonal pool and year-round hot tub were a bonus) but everything was done well. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff took pride in welcoming guests and making sure their needs were met. Super close to downtown Manitou Springs -- stroll on over so you don't have to fight a battle for parking. Overall, The Villa Motel is a terrific choice!"
