"I stayed at Living Chilled for 15 nights and I could not have hoped for a better stay! I usually like comfort when traveling alone, and the room looked very clean on pictures. I was not disappointed, the room was fantastic with a fan and air con, a fridge, a coffee machine, a modern TV with HDMI, a balcony and an en-suite bathroom with hot water and a lot of space. "The hotel itself is well located near Sairee Beach and to all shops/restaurants. The room we stayed in was very close to some hostels that have loud music every night. Not a problem for us as we are heavy sleepers but may be something to consider for others. They said there would be a shuttle to pick us up from the pier but when we arrived we couldn’t find the shuttle. The ferry was about 30 minutes delayed which we thought may be the reason the shuttle wasn’t there. We got a taxi instead...

"Moldy, Dump site for rubbish and trash. The whole place is run down and unkept, the owner was very rude, there were piles of broken glass and bottles and scrap metal all over the place. Road was very dangerous to drive up and the property is no where near the sea in comparison to everything else on the island, no where near the amenities or night life, we didn’t even stay our planned 4 nights, it was terrible "

"Checked in and had £25 taken as a deposit on key. Quite expensive compared to most in the area so expected good things. Most of the hotel was under some kind of construction. There was dog mess in public areas. No safe in the room so i was advised to 'keep all valuables with you'. Soap dispenser didn’t work. Concrete footpath to beach collapsed. "Loved the most the layout, design and location of the resort. The lighthouse design was so cute and like nothing we have stayed in before. There were only a few rooms on the property which made it feel secluded and peaceful. With a restaurant and infinity pool just 5 steps away from our rooms we couldn’t have asked for a better stay on koh Tao. Staff were so kind and helpful. "

"One of my favourite places I stayed while in Thailand for a month. Very clean and I loved my private room with the balcony. Great breakfast and the free beach shuttle was great. I did get woken up by nearby cockerels every morning but I didn't mind. The hostel didn't have a social vibe while I was there but I think that was more down to the people who were staying there at the time."
