"The staff was very accommodating, friendly and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and valued. The breakfast food was delicious, plenty and diverse. All in one we had excellent service and will definitely stay here again. The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can walk mostly everywhere. "Very good tourist hotel. Service and staff were marvelous. They worked hard to exceed service levels. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive. The only negative I have to offer about the property itself is the harsh direct lighting in the rooms. It would have been much better to have some table lamps for the night stands and the desk. The hotel is wedged between the redeveloped waterfront (good) and the hostelries and low-end shops catering to younger, less affluent travelers (not so great). The street it sits on looks as if it’s about to be redeveloped (also good). "

"I loved this hotel for a short stopover in AKL. It’s in a neighborhood close to the airport, but walkable to nice hikes and restaurants. There is a nice breakfast, restaurant and bar w a beautiful patio. Thanks to all for such good service!"

"Fantastic valet, and concierge team. Very proactive. Great room. The only downside was that there are no connections in the rooms for USB ports or British or American plugs and they have no adapters. We were able to go out and buy one fortunately."
