"This beautifully appointed cottage, next to Barry the owners home, has everything and more, than you could ever need. The view from the cottage is over rural farm land and out to the Shorebird Coast, Firth of Thames and the Coromandel ranges beyond. The moment I arrived from central Auckland I felt myself start to relax. Barry was very friendly and helpful. "Perfect for a fishing trip away everything you needed "

"Stayed at Riversong for 2 nights to climb the Pinnacles. All the beds and sofa are super comfy, kitchen is well equipped, just remember to bring your olive oil and spices etc if you intend on cooking. The spa pool was a life saver after a long walk. The river swimming spot just down from the house is gorgeous, with a platform for jumping in if you're brave enough. Such a short drive from Auckland. Will definitely be back soon. Thanks! "

"We had a lovely time at this property. It was a nice distance from the township to feel like we were away from everything and close enough to have dinners and brunches out. The view and balcony was lovely and the home spacious and comfortable. (We were 5 adults) There was a coffee machine but no coffee we could find (instant in the drawer) no tea or basic staples (sugar, teabags, oil for cooking) These aren't expected, as I know there are rules around food etc, but had we known, we would have...

"Alby is a good host. The chalet has beautiful views. Facilities are fairly new. His recommendation for dining in town was very good. Only negative was the alarm kept going off about an hour before we left. "
