"Our family of four (2 adults & 2 kids 7 & 9) had a fabulous stay at St. Somewhere for 10 days. We loved the complete open air experience, pool and kitchen. The bedrooms & master bath were even better than expected vs. the listing photos. We appreciated the beach chairs, outdoor grill, paddle board & all the extras for our first (but not last!!) trip to STJ!"

"We loved Guavaberry Hill. Was perfect for our family of four. Enjoyed the mildly challenging but short walk into town for meals. The view from the patio was fantastic. Finally, the easy drive to many beaches in the National Park made for a memorable family vacation."

"This is a quintessential St John home with lovely stonework, beautiful teak trim and screen doors for the cross breeze and a great pool area. It would be perfect for a small family - there are two bedrooms, the primary en-suite and a second with separate bathroom (and an outdoor shower, which is fabulous). The pool area has very accommodating and comfortable seating both in sun and shade and a table for meals. There is a second table on the covered porch facing Coral Bay. Unfortunately the...

"Nice, updated, clean house with great views on a more secluded and quiet part of the island. Sitting on the covered outdoor patio with its views and natural breeze was delightful, so much so that we ate every meal out there. The pool was also a great place to relax (views again), especially after a beach/boating day. An updated kitchen was very helpful as well. Everything worked in the house. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay on St. John’s "

"We were blown away by the view from the house the minute we walked in! The rental company was very accommodating and we were able to check in early. The house was clean and we loved the different spaces for our group. We had 3 families and everyone was able to have their own space. Pool was great! Close to beaches and downtown. Some of our group had seen the listing with a hot tub which was no longer there. Otherwise, everything was as we expected. "

"Lera, the owener, is thoughtful, kind and generaous. She gave us detailed direction and instructions on use of applicance ahead of time. As soon as we entered the villa, a welcome gift box was waiting for us (rum, bottled water, coffe, tea, and snacks). Beach chairs and cooler are available too. Edward, the property manager, is also helpful. He responded to our questions and request quickly. We encountered power outage due to thunderstorm a couple of times during our stay. Both Lera and Edward...

"Loved the location The pool and the deck offered great views of long bay. Snorkling was great. House could of been a little cleaner,floors needed a good cleaning. No broom to sweep floor or deck. Beds were not that comfortable maybe time for new mattresses. Overall the house was great but it could have used some minor cosmetic repairs around pool area. The two mini Refrigerators were large enough to hold all our food and frozen items. If you're looking for remote location and great views this...

"This property is STUNNING. It truly made our multi-generational family trip to St. Thomas so special. The layout of the house and incredible infinity pool overlooking the water were perfection. The pool was perfect for all ages- even the little kids were contained and had a blast! Brent helped us with an easy check-in and check-out and everything at the house is beautifully curated and well thought out. We can’t wait to go back!"

"What an absolutely amazing place. Everything about the house was fantastic and the views were spectacular. This was the best vacation home we have ever stayed at. They have truly thought of everything here. Made our week vacation such a memorable experience. "

"Up on the Rocks is lovely, with comfortable beds, gorgeous bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and nicely-landscaped grounds. The property manager, Henry, was responsive and friendly. Terrific view. The driveway is very steep and takes some getting used to. "

"Overall the property is beautiful. It’s right on top of a hill so you can look down and see the beautiful views of the island. The room was extremely large with a beautiful balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the hotel shuts down after a certain time. The bar closes at 9( and the food is very good). The pool closes at 12( which is really good). The lobby and housekeeping closes at 11 I believe. So no food, towels, beverages… nothing after 11 and if you don’t rent a car there...

Beautiful resort! Would stay again.

"Amazing resort but we may have gotten to room with the least views. A22. I was most excited about the wrap around porch and we only had about a 6 ft wide porch. Also the pull out sofa mattress was terrible and it too 2 days to get a pillow topper which we laid on top of the mattress on the floor. There were no coffee filters in the room so they gave us some but they didn’t fit but there was a Keurig in the lobby which was just above our room so that was nice. Enjoyed the Captains Quarters for coffee and big connect four. We Enjoyed Sugar beach and the Sun & Sea for drinks and watching fish. We cooked in the room or went to Red Hook which is a short drive. "

Boutique hotel on the beach

"The Buoy House is a great newer hotel part of the Westin complex. Boutique feel and part of Autograph collection of hotels. Private beach near lobby a bit rocky, but closer to Westin it is wonderful. Don't miss catching the sunset from the Westin terrace. Food is great, but overpriced ($21 for a glass of House Pino Noir). We will be back."

"We lucked into one of the most magical stays we have ever had world wide.. it was a last minute trip due to us needing to catch up with a cruise ship.. that turned into us planning to go back to spend at least a week.. from the property, to the room, to the staff.. all 5 stars.. its the first time i've ever been thankful that a flight was delayed. It was magical."
