"A small property located across the road from Beautiful Ōhope Beach, with near beach access. Facilities were adequate. A queen bed would have been good in the 2nd room, instead of 2nd queen under the bunk. "

Probably the only minor negative was that there is a tenant in the bottom story which we were not aware of until after we booked, so we had to remind the kids to be quiet, which kind of took away from being able to relax a little. Other than that, everything was fine"

"Enjoyed our stay at Thornton. You need a car to get out and about as nothing is in walking distance but it is an easy drive to lots of places in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Hosts were friendly and checked in with us that all was going OK. Steep steps between upstairs and downstairs so not appropriate for the mobility impaired, elderly or very young children. "

The gorgeous bush lined road in, the beautiful little lane where the site is located, lined with classic baches, the lakeside location, the little street which is like a community space where people stop and chat, the bushclad hill dropping into the water, Hongi's track walking trail I was very lucky to find somewhere so serene and special. The kayaking and swimming just lovely. Definately want to return Caravan environment so well appointed. Thank you"

"The property is in need of a little bit of TLC, deck nails sticking up causing injury, kayaks in a very unclean condition.Overall a very nice place, just needs a bit of TLC/maintenance for the price point of the place."

"Pukehina Beach is a great location for exploring the area around Rotorua. The Coastal Tiny House was remote enough that it was very peaceful and quiet, but within an easy distance to places we wanted to be! It was comfortable for two people and had the ammenities we needed. Unfortunately the house was a bit unclean, and we thought there might have been a mouse running around. The bedrooms upstairs could also really benefit from some blinds or curtains, as you definitely couldn't sleep in even if...
