"The staff were very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. The hotel does not look at all like the photos. They are very old as the hotel is not updated. The old style tube TV is indicative of the condition of the hotel. Internet did not work in the rooms and worked moderately in the lobby. Location in middle of Cento Market which is great in the day, but unsafe after dark. The hotel entrance is kept locked at all times. We were the only tourists in the 115 room hotel. "Aircon quasi non existence. Shower primitive. Bathroom unlighted. Location was very good in Manaus central. Adequate self-service breakfast. I booked for 2 days to get a foothold after that I relocated to another Hotel. Change address on same Av. Number 657 to 227 (i.e, 430 metre towards the Centre). In this case the move was equiv to Northumberland to Stand on a Monopoly board for £5 per day extra (25%) "
