"The house is big and spacious and clean. Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen with pot, pans, utensils. Bonus- there were tea, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil and soya sauce. The host gave some extra snacks. The beds were comfortable. Availability to use washing machine and dry clothes outside was good. The kitchens sink taps were the old 1960’s where hot and cold were separated. That was difficulty to manage. "

"Two blocks from a rocky beach (good for a swim, with water shoes) and stunning views. Quiet neighborhood close to trail along the lake. House has everything you need in the kitchen, a nice deck, and was super clean when we arrived. Note that if you want to use the hot tub, there is an extra charge (to cover cleaning, which seems reasonable), and owners will unlock it. Plenty of room for two couples (and there is a bunk room too!). "

"Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Welcome Home Cottage. It is in a nice and quiet location and the house is great. Very cosy (can imagine it is great in winter!) with everything, and more, that you need. A short walk to the lake and the shopping area (café, restaurant/bar, takeways, a very interesting second hand shop, and the wee bookshop.We picked up groceries in Te Anau on the way.
