"First, the host Anastasia was excellent, good communicator and v helpful. The rooms are set back from the main house in a small block. Perfectly comfortable. Location is quite remote. Very peaceful. Local village Taverna exceedingly friendly. We were end of season and only guests and had the place to ourselves which we enjoyed. "

"The villa is located in the mountains, about 20 minutes drive to a beach at Agia Pelagia, which is also where we shopped and ate, there being no amenities in the local village. "We (3 adults) stayed in this apartment in Heraklion. The owner was very accomodating. Parking was available on the street (a car is recommended for this location). Of note a sofa bed in Greece is more of sofa than a bed, and air conditioning does not extend to the sofa bed."

"Maria cares deeply about your visit and responds to any need. The house is wonderful with a lovely fruit and vegetable garden in the backyard. It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!"

"Overall, we enjoyed the house and the people with whom we worked. The description online is a bit deceptive. There are two “bedrooms” on the uppermost floor. And both are very small. One room has a bathroom in it along with twin bed, a dresser, and a closet. The other room cannot be called a bedroom. It has a twin bed that is hard as a tabletop. There is no closet and there is no dresser. Just a terrible bed and a small bedside table. To get to the bathroom you must walk into other bedroom....

"The pool area was nice, however they did not offer pool towels. Short walk to the beach. The Room was ok, the bed was not comfortable and full size instead of a queen size, the A/C could use some cleaning, and bathroom door knob could be changed as it was falling apart. "Such a welcome! The people running this hotel are very friendly. I visited end of October with my 10y daughter. She could play in the kids club twice a day (except Wednesday) and has a little kids disco in the evening. There isn’t much to do in the resort so this is a ‘quiet, relaxing holiday’ the beach area behind the hotel was lovely. If you want any ‘life’ Heraklion is 15min cab away for €14 with lots of shops and restaurants. I loved this holiday. "
