"The ground floor apartment has a courtyard and hotub. The suite was super clean. Both reception and cleaning staff were really helpful. There are shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The beach is about 30 mins walk away head to the port and walk right along the front. Would definitely book this property again"

"We stayed at Agapi Beach Resort from 27/10 to 03/11/24 for the third consecutive year. This place never fails to disappoint. Beautiful hotel complimented by the fantastic staff. The accommodation is lovely and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food is lovely and varied each day. As you walk around the hotel the grounds are immaculate with an array of trees, bushes, plants and flowers. Numerous pools dotted about. The beach is two minutes from the main complex. Beach towels provided every day. There are different places on the complex to eat. We can’t praise Agapi Beach Resort enough. Just something about the place that just makes us want to go back every year. Hopefully we will again in 2025. "

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! The front desk also made us a reservation for the el la carte dinner which was also free. The staff didn’t hesitate when we asked them to book us a taxi to check out city centre as well as booking an early taxi to get us to the port the morning we checked out, also supplying us with a box breakfast to go. Highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! "

An Authentic Greek experience!

"A truly unique experience, it felt like we were staying at a friend’s place rather than at a hotel. Very homey and our room had a beautiful view. The restaurant was charming, with delicious food and we even had a group of excellent musicians with authentic Greek dancers in costume. Anther bonus - it was a 15 minu LP te drive to the airport. A great stay! "

Excellent villa with the best host

"If I could have scored higher than 5 stars I would have done. The villa is immaculate has everything you need (probably better equipped than my own house). The pool, table tennis, pool table and gym just make it great. The best thing about this villa on top of this though is the host Kostas and his family who will literally do anything to make your stay perfect from supplying free fruit, eggs, cake and wine on arrival to actually cooking us an authentic Greek meal one of the days, cooked by his mum. I would 100% recommend."

"We have stayed at a lot of properties. This was by far the best. Our host family was so welcoming and there were so many welcoming touches I can’t name them all. And I wouldn’t want to spoil anyone's furure surprise. The home is beautiful and the kitchen is better equipped than mine! You will love it here. "

"The staff were great and doing their best, but the place is just rundown and not well-maintained. Our air conditioning unit wasn’t working so they moved us rooms and the second one wasn’t working very well either. The pool and pool bar area are wonderful and right on the beach, but they close at 6 PM- really don’t understand that when it’s one of the nicest aspects of the place. Our goal was to visit the Knossos palace and catch our morning ferry- if we had to do it again, we would stay in downtown Heracleon."

Short stay for wedding/ birthday.

"Me my wife decided to try something different from the usual hotel packages, we were attending our daughter’s wedding and were unsure how many would be in our party, so this seemed ideal, as it sleeps up to seven. Our son and grandson did eventually stay with us. The hosts met us at the airport upon arrival and took us to the hire car I had prebooked through them and led us to the villa. The villa was just as described. The hosts were so helpful and always available on the phone if required. The local taverna does wonderful traditional Greek food and is very welcoming. If you want a relaxing stay, this is ideal. If you want to see more of Crete, as we did, a car is a must. Heraklion is only 20mins car journey and has great shops and an abundance of restaurants to choose from. If we return to Crete, we would stay again. Adonis and Lisa were wonderful, so welcoming and friendly."
