"This little hotel was really outstanding. Very clean, excellent service, wifi worked well. Great location overlooking the lake. Underground parking was tight but very manageable. We had to leave early on the day of departure so they even went out their way to set up some breakfast for us specifically. A bit of a walk to Malcesine itself - would recommend the bus or driving rather than walking. Bus stop is a few mins walk from the hotel and buses are frequent."

"this was a fantastic location close to malcesine centre (about 5-10 minute walk) if you book a Lakeview balcony you will have a stunning view every day and will be able to watch the sunset over the mountains. the location is compromised by being on the busy road circling the lake but if a little road noise wont put you off this is the perfect place. "Hotel Carullo is situated near the cable car in Malcesine. It is five minutes walk to the cobbled streets in the old part of the town and no more than a few more minutes to the lakeside. Lovely swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Plenty of sun loungers available. There was also a cabin selling drinks and ice creams by the pool, and there was also a gym . Staff very helpful. We had a large bedroom with a mountain view. Breakfast was good. "

"Rooms have outdated furnishings, this place is stuck in the 90s. No air-conditioning, close to unusable rooms during the summer months. Some of the parking is remote and not quite convenient. Decent breakfast and nice staff."

"The most disgusting, bug infested, dirty, run down “hotel” I’ve ever experienced. Every species of bugs you can think of almost. If you don’t like bugs, don’t come here. If you do like bugs, come here. I will dispute this, it was a nightmare from hell. I would not wish my worst enemy to come here. Bugs everywhere, wifi hardly works. Not close to the town, bad location. No taxis available either. Host is condescending and acts like bugs are acceptable. "
