"Great stay close to the ferry pier. The dining/breakfast area had a great view and wonderfully cool breezes. Hot water was a bit on and off and a minor gripe... the a/c and fan were great but it would be nice to have something slightly thicker than a sheet to sleep under ... or an extra blanket. Otherwise a very enjoyable hotel!"

"We were very happy with our stay at Slams. Friendly staff, spotless rooms, good breakfast and a great and very useable swimming pool. We also dived with their dive centre, they have a large comfy boat and great boat crew, very happy with our guides, Jay and Jino and they offer very good rates. Not a criticism but 2 things I would change are, I would add more pool loungers and swap the existing ones for ones with adjustable backs and also while there was plenty of hot water, the shower head was...

"For my money, Blue Corals is the best value on Malapascua Island. The staff are amazing and even gave me a free upgrade to a room with a private balcony with a ocean view. The Mango Pancakes at breakfast Time are to die for, my one and only complaint is it seems the island shuts down around 8pm and their is nothing really to do."

"Nice resort on Malapascua. I had a room without an aircon, wasn't too bad if you open the window. Wi-fi was decent. Bathroom was pretty basic. It's centrally located so not a long walk to get to all areas of the island. I'd stay here again if other options aren't available."

"For being quite pricy the accommodation (double room) was very simple. As we only stayed for one night we can’t say anything about the social life there, but it looked quite social. The host were very nice and let us sleep in after the check out time as we got in very late that night."

"Quite good if you are a golf player. For others it could be kinda boring and remote place, oriented for Korean guests. The swimming pool is very small, breakfast is just okay with limited choice of food, oriented for Koreans."

Quiet Spot on Malapascua

"Great stay close to the ferry pier. The dining/breakfast area had a great view and wonderfully cool breezes. "We were very happy with our stay at Slams. Friendly staff, spotless rooms, good breakfast and a great and very useable swimming pool. We also dived with their dive centre, they have a large comfy boat and great boat crew, very happy with our guides, Jay and Jino and they offer very good rates. "Warm greetings from the reception and owner. Rooms cleaned and refreashed every day. Has a fridge with cold beer for 100 pesos. Excellent. We ate at the restaurant every night as the food was great and breakfast plentiful and assortments. Staff was all were very friendly. The owers are always near by and make you feel welcome. We really enjoyed are stay! Thank you all at Blanco"

"It’s on the beach, which is of course, great. Room is clean. Water is hot. Air is cold. Fan in room was broken. While the drinks are good there find another place to eat. Very disappointing. Dive resort personnel were rather rude and acted like you were bothering them when you asked a question. So needless to say I went somewhere else to dive. Overall the place isn’t bad, but next time I’ll definitely stay so where else. So many options. "

"Spacious, immaculate rooms, with great views (not on the beach, but you are elevated enough for a nice shot at the ocean over a jungle canopy). Attentive, professional staff. Strong A/C. In-room french press coffee/tea, snacks also available. Short walk from the pier and/or to your dive op. Close to many excellent eateries. No TV (it's the '24 US election season, so that's a blessing). 2 dozen big steps and a little path to walk up to get here (it's the highest point on the island after all). Friendly security guard hangs out all night. "
