"I booked into the Presidential suite for 3 nights but stayed for 1 (23 June). Not even close to 5 star. The room door did not lock from the outside, the bathroom tap had a leak and when I tried to close the bathroom door it did not close fully, the TV remote from the room next door was controlling my TV so I could not relax and watch TV, the bed was very noisy and you could also clearly hear the conversations and TV from the room next door. "Nice friendly helpful staff, not the best view from our lodge it was sugar cane field and a petrol station. Sofa beds aren’t great it was like sleeping on the floor. "

"During my recent stay at Frankolin Lodge, I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The front desk and restaurant staff were exceptionally efficient and friendly, ensuring every detail was taken care of with warmth. The rooms were not only comfortable but also gave a home-away-from-home feeling, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast was always a highlight, with impeccable service and delicious offerings that started each day beautifully. The overall ambience of the lodge was outstanding—calm, inviting, and perfect for unwinding. A special mention goes to their restaurant, Orange, which truly deserves Michelin recognition.
