The Toolshed Corner Guest Cabin is located on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and only minutes from Giant City State Park, Ferne Clyff State Park, and Lake of Egypt. Two Bedrooms (2Q) with a fold out queen couches to sleep 6. Sit on the porch and enjoy the 180 degree view or the surrounding hills and bluffs.

Wonderful!
My husband and I wanted a few days away for the grind of work, and we found the perfect place! The cabin is quiet and has great views. Plenty of things to do nearby - hiking, wineries, fishing, etc. Loved sitting on the back porch drinking coffee in the morning, taking in the views. Will definitely be back!

This property was very clean and cozy. They have thought of everything that anyone could ever need while away. The beds are also very comfortable. I have stayed at two other properties owned by the same person and all have been clean and well appointed. Thank you for another great stay.

Extra clean and comfortable. The decor was super cute. The cabin had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again! The kids really enjoyed watching the deer walking in the backyard. The view of the valley was spectacular :)

Peaceful and convenient
Peace and quiet here. All I heard were birds chirping. The back deck looks out over fields and hills and was great to relax and listen to the happy birds. Cabin is great value, with two separate sleeping quarters WITH their own bathrooms. Pictures don’t do it justice. Perfect for wine trail weekend. Another VRBO house on the property (?) but nobody was there when we were, so it was great! Will absolutely book again!

Beautifil, clean cabin that I would love to revisit.
The cabin was easy to find and is in driving distance of many local wineries and a great state park for hiking. The cabin was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable vacation. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and responded quickly to our every need. We will definitely be back!

Toolshed Cabin Makanda
Nice views with occasional deer sightings. Shared fire pit with firewood provided. Space for two couples and/or small families with plenty of privacy. Plenty of hot water for everyone. Just about everything you need including snacks and toiletries. Alpaca farm across the street. We have stayed here multiple times and will likely be back again if we are in the area.

A tucked away gem!
We had such a great time at this cabin! The house was set up with everything you can need for your stay. The rooms were a great size for our group to spend time together. The back deck had an amazing view and we enjoyed sitting and watching the deer and all the fireflies in the evening. There were so many fireflies it was like glitter in the sky! Just beautiful!
