"Everything was wonderful, or cabana, the ocean, the staff from front desk to cleaning although seemed under staffed somewhat. We ate breakfast once and I would say being from the restaurant industry that it was VERY overpriced for the selection offered. Basic, fruit breads coffee and juice was 32.00 and if you upgraded to pancakes and eggs it was 36.00. Very slow service, but again understaffed. Lunch and dinner was VERY good though and pricing was okay. The grounds people and cleaning staff were wonderful. The cabanas were spacious and very comfortable. One suggestion would be to offer snorkeling equipment and a beach towel to your guests at no charge for what you charge to book a stay. "

"This property was spacious and had the best view of Opunohua Bay! Wonderful sunsets! The area is quiet and the back of the home facing the bay. There is no air conditioning, but many fans throughout the home. After the sunsets the house gets cooler. There is plenty of space for 2-4 people. There is a steep drive up to the home, but after doing it a few times is is easier. The host is wonderful, flexible, and quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed our stay. cooler. "

"We stayed in three different bungalows. Our favorite was the beach view just west of the overwater rooms. You're steps from the beach and that glorious water but away from minimal crowds. Our least favorite was the ocean view to the east of the overwaters. The overwater bungalows are directly in front of you and the water. There's no beach to speak of here and the water is almost too shallow to swim in. Staff overall was very friendly and helpful. The main attraction for the Sofitel is the water.
