Lagoon house with private pool in the heart of Maharepa village: supermarket (in front of the house), snacks (in front and next to the house) and restaurants (next to the house with possibility of takeaway) ), banks, post office, medical centers, various businesses only a few meters away.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 mezzanine with sleeping, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room with panoramic views of the lagoon, billiards, covered terrace (with dining area and seating area) around the pool facing the lagoon, pontoon from which you can admire the sunrise and sunset, the coral reef, the change of color of the lagoon and of course the fish!
At your disposal: 2 single-seater kayaks, ping-pong, table football, mini soccer, billiard and pedal boat 4 people.
Many water and land activities are proposed to Moorea we will be happy to assist you!

Loved our stay here. The pool was great to come home to after a day out exploring Moorea, and we appreciated the outdoor furniture under the covered outdoor area. Wonderful outlook right on the water. The host was super responsive and when we had a question.

All the reviews you have read are true. This place is paradise. Wow. You won’t want to ever leave. The front yard has snorkeling and kayaking and unbelievable night stars. Great rooms, all the cooking equipment you want and across from the grocery store and all the shopping. However, you will never know it, super quiet and can’t hear anything but the ocean. Stop now and book this place.

A great place in Moorea
Was a great place with good AC in all the bedrooms. When there was a small issue the owners had it fixed very quickly. The pool was fantastic in the heat and the ocean was feet away. Good snorkeling with many fish to be found. Very happy with the property, the location and the especially the pool.

Excellent location. Supermarket across road, and easy walk to cafes, restaurants etc. Fantastic pool, lots of outdoor covered space to relax. Everything needed for a great stay. Would be very happy to go back again.

Great location
Overall, the property was great. The location was beautiful and the store across the street was super convenient. We had a little difficulty finding it because the gate is not visible from the road, and we did not understand that. Communication with the host was difficult because we only speak English, and they only speak French. The washing machine ruined some of our clothes because it would not drain. Other than the few little inconveniences it was a great stay.

Favorite vacation house, best location
Look no further if what you want is a vacation home that is so close to the water that it feels like a overwater bungalow. The location is second to none especially since you can walk across the street to the market, shops, and restaurants.

What an awesome place to call home while on Moorea! The dive shop and whale encounter company we used, a grocery store and options for dining, were all just a short walking distance away -- great snorkeling right out back....The kids loved starting and ending their day in the pool. the house was set up with everything we needed and more....would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Amazing property for a family with kids! 13 year old loved snorkelling and my 7 year old loved the pool. Everything is super handy to where the property is located!

Moorea at it's best!!
We love staying at the Lagoon pool house. From the house to the pool to the snorkeling right in front of the house to the shopping near by. It's really the best place to stay. Indoor outdoor living. Our host Karine and Robert were on top of it when Moorea was in the path of a cyclone. They made sure we were aware of what was happening and that we would be off the Island when the storm hit. We then stayed in Papeete at the host's other VRBO beautiful home. In spite of the storm it was perfect. Thank you Karine and Robert for being such great hosts.

Second visit to rental
We enjoyed our stay. Lots of space and modern amenities. Snorkeling right in front of the house was the best experience we found on the island. Lots of reef fish and a few sharks and a turtle. The pool was excellent. We liked the across the street walk to the neighborhood "supermarche" for baguettes, pastries and groceries. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Two local rental car locations nearby.

Perfect Location
We had one of the best holidays of our lives in this beautiful property. It is charming, comfortable, well-appointed, with magnificent views of the lagoon and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private pool was the icing on the cake. The owners, Karine and Robert, are delightful, and felt like friends by the end of our two weeks in Paradise. If you want cookie-cutter luxury, go to one of the resorts. But if you want a real Polynesian experience, stay at Fare Moorea.

The view was amazing, the pool was refreshing and the house had all the amenities we needed. It accommodated four adults and could fit more guests if desired. I would advise to update the post, stating, the clothes dryer is available, upon request. The owner was accomdating and we were able to access the vrbo without issue. There is a store directly accross the street as well as shops and restraunts within a short walking distance. Thank you for making this happen for us, Karine and Robert, we truly enjoyed it!

AMAZING, LARGE, POOL, DOCK, LOCATION - UNBEATABLE
Iaorana, The location is ideal. With a pool, on the lagoon, dock to go snorkeling from. Supermarket is literally across the street. Several restaurants within a couple of blocks. Post Office within a block. Two kayaks to use. Two bicycles to use. Washer (line dry clothes). Large refrigerator/freezer. The hosts Karine & Robert were amazingly responsive in answering questions and dealing with a couple of simple issues. Caring, timely response like that is worth its weight in gold. We spent 25-days and loved it! Highly recommend their home! FYI-They also have another VRBO in Papeete. Maruruuru

Fantastic house in Mo’orea!
My husband and I spent three amazing days in Mo’orea and loved staying in this house. From the pool to the access to the ocean and the location of the home close to markets, shopping and restaurants, we would recommend this house for anybody looking for a comfortable home during their visit. We cooked a lot and the kitchen has everything you need, and it’s so quiet and peaceful at night. Check in/out was easy and clear instructions for the property and information about Mo’orea was provided in booklets by the host. We were only two people but it can comfortably accommodate more for families/friends traveling together.

Great location!!
The snorkeling right in front of the house was the best on the Island. We really enjoyed the outdoor space including the pool. The indoors has many stairs going from one room to the other. A little quirky but functional. The outdoor space and pool needed attention and the maintenance person was there the day after we called. Great to be able to walk to grocery store and/ or restaurants.

Perfect Family Holiday
For a family holiday in Tahiti, this was the perfect place for us. It’s not fancy, but it’s got lots off room, lots of amenities (private pool, bikes, kayaks, peddle boat, paddle board and perfect location). It has a large kitchen and living room. The master bedroom and bath are large. It’s right on the ocean with a gorgeous view. It was in the heart of Moorea right near grocery, shops and restaurants, yet secluded behind a secure walled in area. The owners were incredibly nice and responsive to us. The price was very fair. We will be back.

Great family & friend stay on Moorea
We had a great time with our young adult child and an adult friend. Four adults very comfortably shared Fare Moorea for 8 days. Great location- can walk everywhere in Maharepa. The pool was fantastic. Enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the lagoon. We appreciate the opportunity to cook and relax at the house. Keep in mind Fare Moorea is not a resort, but isn't that why we stay in guest homes? I would also advise that this may be a challenging home for people with mobility issues- several steps in the house and big steps for pool entrance. Would stay here again!

Short/Sweet Stay!
The four of us had a great time staying at this house for two nights. The pool is great! We loved taking the kayaks out in the ocean. The water is so blue and clear. You can see lots of fish! The house is a little quirky, but fine for sleeping. The AC in the rooms worked well, and we had no problems with anything. There is a store super close, so that was convenient, and we had breakfast across the street both mornings. Having a car would make it easier to find dinner, but we managed to find a couple of places within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend staying here. You cannot beat the view and having a private pool. Merci, Karine et Robert!

Wished we’d stayed longer
Great location! Cooling down in either the pool or lagoon was a great choice. Loved seeing all the different fish in the lagoon and every morning there was a very little black tip reef shark that came to visit. The kids loved watching it swim around the lagoon. The only down side was the air conditioner in the main part of the house. You had to constantly fill it with water but it didn’t seem to keep the temp down. Other than that, all was great. Just an FYI, the house is quirky but it totally worked for us.

Beautiful spot in a convenient location
We loved this home that seemed like a boat it was so close to the water with the quirky hall and rooms and windows to the sea. We snorkeled, kayaked and pedal boated and saw Black Tip Reef Sharks, two Sting Rays, and a Spotted Eagle Ray straight out from the house. There were awesome views of Moorea peaks from the boats also. The outdoor covered areas to eat were much appreciated. We liked the proximity to Carmeline's and Manava Resort for treats and a nice dinner as well as the convenience to the grocery store. The owners kindly left a bottle of diatomaceous earth to help manage the ants and an island wide termite hatch that happened when we were there. We had great weather and were off on numerous adventures or we would have also used and appreciated the ping pong table, Foosball and big screen entertainment center. Make sure you get good directions and both numbers to call so you can find it when you arrive by Snack Didier.

AMAZING isn't strong enough a word to describe this place.
Our little family stayed about a week in this amazing Tahitian home. It is located in the best neighborhood on the island. Everything right there at walking distance. Great for slow and relaxing morning without the stress of getting in a car and looking for places to get breakfast. Amazing location, right on the Moorea lagoon. We went kayaking (comes with the property amenities) every day at sunrise. And of course we got lots of use out of the gorgeous swimming pool as well. I can go on and on about this place. We will be back as often as we can, that's for sure. The owners of this Tahitian gem, Karine and Robert, go above and beyond to make sure their guests are having the time of there lives. They are not pushy or overbearing, but they are always available by phone should you have any questions about pretty much anything regarding your stay on the island. HIGHLY recommended. Best place on Moorea.
