"Despite some unseasonal cold and wet weather and suffering from colds caught on the ferry from GB we really enjoyed our 2 weeks at L’Abeille Bleue. What made it so great was the warmth of our hosts Didier and Patricia, a most welcoming and generous couple. Didier was so concerned that we understood how the heating system worked (we really needed it!) that he came in twice to check that we understood it. And we also benefitted greatly from gifts of fruit (peaches, apples, figs) and vegetables...

"Tout d'abord la demeure des propriétaires a été rénovée et décorée avec goût (petit + pour les peintures de l'appartement réalisées par Fabrine, la maîtresse des lieux). The surroundings are hard to beat too - we explored local vineyards, castles and swimming lakes as well as lovely Chinon a short drive away.
