"Despite some unseasonal cold and wet weather and suffering from colds caught on the ferry from GB we really enjoyed our 2 weeks at L’Abeille Bleue. What made it so great was the warmth of our hosts Didier and Patricia, a most welcoming and generous couple. Didier was so concerned that we understood how the heating system worked (we really needed it!) that he came in twice to check that we understood it. And we also benefitted greatly from gifts of fruit (peaches, apples, figs) and vegetables...

"Tout d'abord la demeure des propriétaires a été rénovée et décorée avec goût (petit + pour les peintures de l'appartement réalisées par Fabrine, la maîtresse des lieux). "We found 81 Bis to be a perfect location with plenty to do within a few miles of our base. The apartment was well equipped with views over the garden on 2 sides and parking for our car plus safe storage for the bikes. Shopping within easy reach and the beautiful city of Tours just 12 miles away. For us the bed was very hard and not to our liking but it might well suit other people. We are both 72 and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you"

"The most amazing property with superb views, oodles to do for entertainment. The pool and spa facilities are amazing and all the sports equipment were well used by our family group. There was 38 of us, across three generations and we would visit again in a heart beat!"
