"Stayed at the duck bay on 2 occasions 1st time i was in a roo that walk out thought patio doors to the loch which was nice and so was the room . Second time wasnt the same outcome i was in the room next to reception and was awoke at 6am with deliveries ceah banfmf wallop of cages and engine running cab doors slaming . Bur wouldnt put me off staying here ."

"Birthday celebration weekend It was a great stay at the Golden Jubilee hotel, which had also organised one of its function rooms and catered for a family member’s birthday party. The breakfast service was also very good with an excellent choice of menu for breakfast. We would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel."

"I stayed in the Rosslea as I was attending a business meeting the next day. Firstly I was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so if you have mobility issues could be an issue. The room itself was adequate but would benefit from a revamp. The tv was ancient but perfectly useable. The bed was 2 pushed together so was a little strange when sleeping. The breakfast was really good and was included with the stay. Overall I had a pleasant stay."

"I stayed for 2 nights & the service given & room were top quality. I would have preferred a room with a view over the bay, but to be fair, I didnt ask as only there a short while. Great location, I used the driving range, but sadly no time for a full round. Particular credit to Martin, who served me in the small bar & had a great knowledge of whisky, so much so I went to Glengoyne for a guided tour."

Luxury Holiday Apartment Loch Lomond Balloch

Boiler problem

"The owner was attentive, however during our 3 day stay the boiler had a leak resulting in no heating or hot water for two days. In addition, we had to return home on the afternoon of Bank Holiday Monday… however we had to wait in the property for a Gas engineer to arrive and fix the boiler. The property owner does not live locally and it was a great imposition on our holiday -;eg having to wait in and mop the floor 3 x times and adjust the boiler pressure twice. These actions should NOT be the responsibility of renters… A very poor situation, no proposal to refund any money by the owner"
