"I am from Nashville Tennessee USA and visited my partner who lives in Townsville QLD over the winter holidays. We stayed at True North for a couple of nights during my visit. Everything was perfect! The breakfast served in the mornings was delicious with ample portions to hold us over till dinner time. The room fridge was stocked with coffee, milk and sugar with a water pitcher as well. The room also was equipped with anything else we needed during our stay in the way of cups, cutlery, kettle, and toaster. The property itself was gorgeous and felt very private amongst other holiday stays in the area. It was also very walkable to Horseshoe Bay with multiple bus stops close by if not feeling up for a walk. We had a great time and definitely plan to come back on our next visit to the island 🏝️"

"It was such a a beautiful 2 nights away..the bed was amazing and plenty of room. It has been beautiful decorated and having the deck outside was such a a beautiful spot to sit. The pool was amazing too. "

"This was good but we paid for the extra guest service and the bed is a single roll out bed and not sufficient for an adult. It would be fine for one night but no longer. Other than that a great stay. "

"Beautiful grounds, and we loved our cabin. It felt roomy and cozy at the same time. It was great having our own tea kettle, coffee and refrigerator. The staff were always available and we loved the option of coming down to the main area for coffee and/or breakfast, lunch, drinks, dinner etc. We loved the variety of travelers playing pool, cards, ping pong and chatting. Beautifully decrated with custom mural and tapestries. "

"We paid a little extra for an ocean view and it was well worth it for the beautiful view/apartment, great location for the ferry, bus and supermarket/bottleshop. Lovely complex and staff too."

"We had a group of 10 friends stay at this beauty of a home. Short walk from the beach and the pub and everyone was able to have a game of golf as well which was amazing. "This is a fantastic resort. Whilst it's a little bit older, the rooms are open and spacious. The bed and pillow super comfortable and the property offers great value for money at a convenient location to the beach, restaurants and marina. Jennie was the manager and our point of contact. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the island, and a real joy to interact with. "
