"The apartment is like a 1970s time capsule! We were a bit shocked at first, but it is super clean and in great shape. There is a washer if you need it and a kitchen with everything you need. "Such a perfect spot to land after our flight from the US to Milan. Miranda made us feel so welcome! Our son slept on the main floor, we slept upstairs. Perfect small european kitchen with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Lovely restaurant cafe in this charming small town. We even came back for a few days' stay later during our trip, did our laundry, hung to dry on Miranda's clothesline. Really such perfect and unique spot!!"

"The photos on the website were absolutely spot on! The apartment was light and bright. Self check in was easy and exactly as described. The situation above Lago Maggiore was breathtaking and even in the rain the view was ever changing. Out of season the local restaurants were not open but a new supermarket in Stresa with a carpark was good for shopping and the apartment was well equipped for cooking. "Our lovely and responsive host helped us by picking us up when we couldnt find a taxi.The house was large, very clean with all we needed, in a quiet area of Intra. The house is not in the centre, a 15 -29 minute stroll to the lakefront. Easy parking.The house would especially suit travellers with a car."

"The apartment is charming and in the most beautiful spot with views over the island and swimming in the lake from the garden. Stefano could not have been more helpful and provided extensive information to cover every aspect of our stay. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the town. No aircon but Stefano provided us with fans to cool us at night. We loved our time in Orta - it is a very special place indeed."
