"Jean and Catherine were wonderful hosts for our 3-night stay at this wonderful Chateau in the heart of the Beaujolais wine region. "The Château de Colombier fits the bill for a charming and romantic country getaway that is entirely authentic to the area. Run by a beautiful, generous couple that make you feel at home from the instant you arrive, you feel as though you are a member of the family and a welcome house guest. "Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la maison de Paulette. Très bien située, proche des commerces mais aussi très pratique pour visiter la région. Un très grand jardin avec trampoline, piscine et jeux pour les enfants. Cuisine bien équipée et accueil chaleureux. La maison est une ancienne bâtisse typique de la région et les lits sont confortables. Un vrai bonheur. Nous reviendrons."

"To be frank, we were initially concerned that the gite might be too small but found this was absolutely not the case. There was ample room, the kitchen was completely furnished with everything one would need and more and the bed and furnishings were good. Bruno and Brigitte were the absolute perfects hosts and did much to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this gite and hope we will be able to return in the future."

Affordable, nice hotel and staff.

"We stayed one night whilst passing back to the U.K. through France from a ski holiday. For what we needed: a place to crash, it was perfect. Room was simple but with a certain style. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was decent. Breakfast was also good. Staff were nice and welcoming. For the price, I thought it was very reasonable. Free ample parking on the street, or you can pay €12 per night to park it in their garage. Would happily visit again."
