"Everything was spot on"

"Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. Upon our return that evening, we walked into the courtyard and were treated to a perfectly clear sky with hundreds of stars. Herve told us the following morning...

"Really nice property in a quiet village, beautiful garden, our room was lovely, really clean with modern bathroom. Breakfast was also really good: fresh bread, homemade jam etc. Parking available inside the property. "

"Only stayed the one night in the room called “Cosy”. Don’t worry, it isn’t small! The character property has been renovated to a very high spec. All very clean and tastefully decorated. Our host was lovely. The place is tucked away in the town centre and a short walk from all the beautiful place has to offer. We’ll stay longer next time."

"Splendid little place high on the hill behind Chinas with huge views. Really welcoming, handy little private garden with our room, good pool at a comfortable temperature. Food was good simple family cooking but very well executed. We have eaten in more expensive places in the region but sometimes after a long drive something non-challenging is just what the dr ordered. Lots of wine for sale and the well stocked fridges in the room were at cellar door prices. What not to like? We will...

"Very nice place,only one room so very quiet. Only downside is that there is no private parking but plenty of places in the streets in October. Could be an issue in peak holiday time. Cash only, no credit cards."

"This is a lovely guesthouse with a difference. Owned by a Dutch couple, I was welcomed by them and their huge dog. The room was clean and pleasant, an older-fashioned rustic country style that I'd expect in a Burgundian village but all well-appointed. The distinctive features of my stay (just one night on a business trip) was the communal dinner offered with Wouter and Lotte (hosts) cooking a massive barbecue and entertaining us around the table.
