"This is a difficult rating. Very clean place, friendly. Great location, close to Airport, close to down town Machico. Machico even has a sand beach. Had a nice breakfast room with a filling cold breakfast. Room was a a little small. The biggest problem was the shower drain was very slow, and shower head push out a large amount of water, ended up flooding the bathroom a couple times. Ran out of hot water one day, may have been due to three toung women that just arrived. Only happened...

"The property is new, and well appointed. Since they are new I give it another year for them to get it all sorted. They offer a daily shuttle to Funchal which is nice. If your looking for new, upscale and quite, great place. If you want to be in the heart of action. Stay in Funchal. Overall wonderful experience."

"We came in late late late and were able to just zip over from the airport in a matter of minutes. There was parking super close by and it was so easy to get into the place even though it was around 12:30 a.m. It was a tiny room but it was the perfect size to just watch a little internet tv, fall asleep and wake up to the sun shining off the quaint streets and beautiful waterfront. The shower was great. There was a coffee machine and, even better, a coffee shop almost directly across the street....
