"Where to start. I travel extensively and this little gem has been one of my absolute favorite places to stay. The location is excellent and close within 10-20 minute drive of all the wonderful little towns around. Felipe greeted me with a glass of local sagrantino wine and walked me around the borgo giving me the history of the place and it added to the charm of the place. The entire place is extremely clean. "We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. They warmly welcomed us and showed us to the property which was around the corner from the square. We immediately recognised it from the photos. "From start to finish, everything was perfect. The owner was quick to respond to any questions prior to arrival. The drive up to the hilltop village is breathtaking!
