"Our host was absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming. The property was gorgeous and we stayed in the little cottage which was so cute and comfortable. Can't say enough, just loved it. "The idyllic views, tranquil location and convenient driving distance to many of the beautiful hill towns in Umbria made our stay in the house very enjoyable. The house managers, Giuseppe and his wife Mariella were very kind and helpful and when we asked Giuseppie to recommend a good local butcher and cheese shop he took us there himself. "We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. They warmly welcomed us and showed us to the property which was around the corner from the square. We immediately recognised it from the photos. "From start to finish, everything was perfect. The owner was quick to respond to any questions prior to arrival. The drive up to the hilltop village is breathtaking!
