"Perfect location and property for family vacation.Great room arrangement for people with young kids so variable sleeping times are easy. Beautifully maintained property with things to do on site but also hiking trails and canoeing options ridiculously close by. All the comforts of home from kitchen to fire pit to comfy beds. Very well set up for bringing a dog too. Michael and caretaker Meg were responsive and helpful. Can’t imagine anything I would change. We will be back!"

"Great spot for a group outing. this was a lovely location to hang out in, paddle around the lake, go to old forge and do some hiking. we needed big tables for lots of games, and this was perfect. Only downside to the place is no dishwasher, which can be a little tricky with a group of 8."

"The photos of the home were accurate. It was very roomy and nicely furnished. The owner was easy to communicate with. If you’re going in the winter be aware that the house is at the end of long private road which was a bit daunting with the snow. "

The host was gracious and understanding of the needs of our family. "My husband and I stayed with our 3 children ages 11, 17, 24 and our daughter in law and 2 grandchildren ages 1 & 3. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean and comfortable. It is a block off of main street and easy to walk to shop and eat. The few questions I had prior to arriving were answered very quickly. We had a great stay! Thanks Josh & Alyssa!"

"Amazing cabin in the woods. Carol and Dan were amazing making sure we had everything that we needed. Which we did. They provided everything for modern living. We didn’t leave the cabin we did have some adventures in the rain and snow on the property. Our dogs were exhausted by day three. We saw otters playing on the lake, large beaver and some deer. Very quiet. Perfect place to go if you are looking somewhere to get away from the noise! Especially on New Year’s Eve. We cannot say enough...
