"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. "A quaint cozy lodge! The kitchen had everything I needed to whip up a few meals. Everything was clean and cozy. Definitely go to the whammy bar for dinner if you stay here! Best meals of our whole trip were from the guest chefs. "

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the most welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. The property grounds are impeccably maintained, offering ample space for various activities. We had a blast enjoying the 6-hole disc golf course, playing soccer, whiffle ball, kickball, and volleyball. "Was nice retreat on the frozen lake. Good to have fireplace (had to bring own wood) and allowed the dogs."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the house. The new hot tub right outside the master bedroom is wonderful, you can sit and watch the lake. Lots to see in the lake while paddling around, fish, snails lots of ducks and loons. The kids loved the lake and how close it was to the house. There is a small dirt road that they have to cross to get to the lake but only 6 cars drove by the whole day so it wasnt a problem with older kids. We really enjoyed our time and plan on staying again"
