"We stayed here around Christmas time. We were skiing nearby. Location was great. With the snow the cabin was great for views. There were some issues with the internet/tv working for the first few days- but was addressed. There was a little issue with the shower downstairs leaking- we sent a video the first day but little could be done. Little issues "

"The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. "Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor.
