"Nick’s place is such a gem - not only is it incredibly clean and well-cared for, but you get to be right on the river. We never get to bring our dogs on vacation because so many places have weight limits on dogs (which is totally fair), so it was a really special treat to get to bring our two big dogs with us. "We came to Bellingham to do some mountain biking and hiking. Bellingham is a wonderful destination for all things outdoors but this home is absolutely paradise. It is beautiful with plenty of space. The yard was beautiful. There are great places to lounge and the hot tub and sauna were the cherry on top. The inside was spacious and clean and was perfect for our family to gather. "This is property is a Thousand Trails campground that accepts non-members. It’s clean, quiet and friendly. We went during the off season, so the pool and store were closed. That isn’t mentioned anywhere on the hotels.com website, or on the property website, so do your research before booking. We rented a cabin, and were expected to strip the beds, sweep floors and put all trash in the dumpster prior to checkout, or we would be charged a cleaning fee. "The cabin is a wonderful combination of modern conveniences and charming log cabin. We were there in November so I can't rate the lake for swimming, but the lake view is beautiful. We were very happy there, and hope to return some day!"
