"Quick stay due to interrupted travel Hotel was lovely and good price £65 RO Only issue was one of the shower head was pointed to the opening of the shower cubicle where you stand to turn the shower on and the water went everywhere when I first turned the shower on ….."

"Situated right in the middle of the lovely and picturesque town of Rye The George is a beautifully restored Georgian inn with rooms. The bedrooms are spread about a number of buildings behind the main building and mine was beautiful. A good sized bedroom and a large bathroom with both a large walk in shower and a freestanding rolltop bath. I didn’t eat dinner there but if the cooked breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the restaurant is good. Only things to be aware of is due to it’s location there are no parking facilities on site. You need to drop luggage off and then park in a public car park a few minutes away. Also due to the age and hodgepodge of buildings making up The George it might not suit those who can’t easily negotiate steps and stairs. However if you want to stay in the heart of Rye in a lovely building I can highly recommend. "

"Stayed at Woodland lodge with kids. Quiet and well maintained building. Kitchen stuffs could be a little bit better. Frypan is a little small for the family of 4. Breakfast, swimming pool all good"

"This is an exceptionally good hotel, all the usual facilties, good free wifi, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent dining room and breakfasts with good choice of breakfast. Good restaurant within the hotel with reasonably priced meals. Staff very helpfull. The only downside was no mirror in the bathroom so had to use own small mirror to shave by."

"This is the second time we have stayed but the first time we had breakfast the food was lovely only we would of preferred it if the tea and coffee were served to the table as we were backwards and forwards to the buffet I know this is a very small issue and slightly petty but it would of been nice staff fabulous will definitely stay again hotel spotless and we had a lovely big room we will return and use the spa thank you "
