"Bordeaux is fantastic and we wanted an economy hotel near enough to the centre. We had stayed with this hotel group in Bagneux, Paris, and hotel there was very good. This hotel is older, lady on reception was very helpful but hotel is not of same standard as in Paris and reception is not manned in the evenings or Saturday afternoon. "Hotel is convenient for Bordeaux Centre and there is a supermarket and shopping mall close by. Entry is confusing as the main entrance is from the upper level. The only way we could get to the upper entrance was through the adjacent park which isn't obvious. The ground floor entrance is normally locked and access is either via the speakerphone, door key card or previously advised PIN number. Not very welcoming. The rooms are OK and adequately provided with eseentials. No air conditioning so...
