"This motel is a good locally owned and operated budget option in Lusaka. It offers a very pleasant courtyard, good restaurant with limited menu, and clean, basic room. Location is not too far from the center, though Lusaka is not a good town for walking, and there are nor restaurants, bars, etc. near the property. I stayed here twice, and the TV reception was poor in each room. Also some problems with WI-FI on the first stay."

"City lodge is a perfect name; it is in the city so do not expect wildlife! It has I think only 8 rooms and a pool approx. 13 x 5 m with options to sit next to it on wooden couches - there is not one bed for a sunbath. It has a very well equipped bar and a good kitchen with a somewhat limited choice. The cook on call could make more complex tasteful dishes for sure. The receptionist is an extreme friendly young woman that shows your rooms with pride as if she decorated it by herself. Go and rent...

"The staff handling enquires through Expedia is the only saving grace of this hotel. She was most helpful to my enquiry to buy long distance bus tickets. Of course i understand that I am paying a budget price but to have baby cockroaches crawling out of the crevices in table in the room is petrifying, dirty and scary. And the ceiling walls of the toilet is dark, stained and moldy. Dinner menu was limited and we waited nearly an hour for a simple meal of rice with chicken. Oh my goodness, 1...

"A great place to stay while in Lusaka. The staff is great and willing to assist if something is needed. The grounds are very peaceful and relaxing while being well taken care of. The apartments are near restaurants and a mall is nearby. I would stay here again and recommend the apartments for your visit or other reasons. "
