"This is a beautiful property. It is quite sprawling and requires a lot of walking or riding on the electric carts—not a problem for us. The restaurants get quite busy and may require a reservation well in advance. Also it is really popular with families with small children so be forewarned if you are not ready to be around a LOT of kids. The staff were uniformly helpful and courteous (in fact this seemed to be true everywhere in Puerto Rico). The only disappointment for us was the beach area...

"The resort and the unit are 2 totally different experiences. The resort itself was lovely- lots of pools and on a small beach (pools needed to be maintained better and the "waterpark" part of it is only open on the weekends) but the resort was kept tidy and pleasant. Our unit, however, was clean but VERY disappointing. It was not maintained well and many things were broken (the lock on the sliding doors, locks on the windows, THE TV!!!) "My wife and I took our kids (5 and 2.5) along with my parents to stay on the Bahtia resort property and loved every minute of it. The in subdivision pool was great for an evening swim and during the day we had easy access (via golf cart) to both the beach club pool and bar area as well as the st Regis hotel pool and bar area. We also explored the boathouse which featured kayaks, paddle boards, and a floating obstacle course which proved daunting for my kids (this time)All of the staff members...

"This is a great little condo with everything that you need - I even found a broom to clean up the endless sand! Nice, quiet beach just 50 feet away. Grocery and restaurants nearby. Close to the rain forest and the bioluminescent bay. Good communication with the owner. Nice place to stay, especially for the price. I would stay there again."

"We had a fantastic stay! The host was very helpful, even answering a late night call to help us find the apartment. The host also had thoughtful extras such as towels, water bottles, and umbrellas. The place is beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the waves. The location is close to the Luquillo beach, rainforest, but you’ll need a car to get around. Old San Juan is a 45 min drive away. We’d definitely stay here again "
