"This was the best hotel stay I've ever had in terms of service. I contacted the hotel to ask whether we could store our luggage before we checked in, as we didn't want to carry them all day around the towns in Lake Como. "The property in Bellano is well appointed and perfect for two or three looking to spend some down time on the lake ~ You will need your own beach towels and chairs, should you decide to enter the water on the property's back side as they are not provided. The town has intricately lined streets with charming stores and an array of wonderful restaurants on the waterfront. Take the ferry to Bellagio and skip Lake Como proper. You'll enjoy it just as much and in half the time!"

"Das Haus liegt oberhalb von Varenna. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten am Bahnhof von Varenna. Das Haus selber ist für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Und hat alles was man braucht. "The property itself was fine however it is up in the hills and you wouldn't be able to walk down to the train station or the port so you'd need your own car or to get a taxi. But its worth noting that getting a taxi around there is extremely difficult and without a car it was quite hard to get around which made it not enjoyable. "
