My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. Giovanni was very helpful on arranging transport for me to the train station.. I look forward to return to Lucca when I do, hopefully I'll be able to stay at this property again."

"We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"

"As soon as I walked in the smell hit me and I did mention this to the owner who was there. It was a strong musty smell. I stayed for an hour. Opened the living room and kitchen windows to see if that would help. Walked upstairs and the smell was there as well. I was getting a bad headache . We could not stay here for a 2 weeks so left and booked a hotel until we found other accommodations."
