"This is an old, traditional and vintage hotel, surrounded by many restaurants, and cafes. It's within a walking distance from the Grand Place. The hotel room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The lobby is welcoming with a piano bar. You are offered a welcome drink of your choice. The continental breakfast has good selection of pastry and fresh fruits with large sitting area. A vehicle parking is available for a fee. The car elevator can't handle large SUVs.The staff at the reception and breakfast room are cordial and pleasant. "

"Arrived in the evening, rather tired, and a most charming and friendly young man was working at reception. (And delightful woman when I checked out too.) He walked me to the lift and explained that I was to press '0'. The basement?! He reassured me that it was actually a duplex, and it turned out to be a very good choice of room indeed! Located moments from the Grand Palace and streets filled with restaurants and the Bruxelles-Central station, but on a calm side street, the hotel was a peaceful find, and my specific room overlooking a courtyard was even more so. One could have heard a pin drop. I slept like an exhausted baby. The internal staircase, however, requires a bit of attention paying - when going down to the bathroom, make an effort to notice where the first step actually is, not where you think it's going to be! I would very happily stay here again. "

"We stayed in a family room at this hotel (2 adults, a 2 year old and a 5 month old). The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short walk from Grand Place and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We were really impressed with the check in process. Our room was ready before 3pm and the staff member checking us in was very nice. She even gave our daughters a little toy each, which they absolutely loved. When we got to our room we noticed that the cot beds we had requested were not there but this was rectified quickly. A cot was provided for our baby but we were informed that it wouldn't be given for our 2 year old, which was fine as she managed to sleep fine on the bed. The room wasn't huge but had everything we needed, bathroom with over bath shower, separate toilet, hair dryer, kettle and mini fridge. The TV wasn't working to start with but this was sorted after we reported it. We used the pool facilities on one of the days, which was great. It's a small pool but perfect to take children in. Our 2 year old loved it. We can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't add it. Overall, a great hotel for the price. Perfect location and very clean and quiet. "
