"The owners put considerable thought and effort into this recently remodeled property. The large windows provide plenty of natural light and a good view of the lake. The house isn't right on the water and no direct access from the property, but still plenty scenic. We stayed here over Christmas and the gas fireplace was a very cozy feature. The tall ceilings make the room feel larger than it actually is.The layout of the kitchen and living room were perfect for interaction while cooking. This place has the best amenities of any VRBO that we've stayed at. The number of appliances, quality and variety of cookware, organization of cabinets and drawers, and the assortment of spices made it very easy to prepare meals for the holiday.The home has two bedrooms- perfect for our family of 4. The beds were all comfortable and had memory foam mattresses, which was nice touch that you don't find everywhere.The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower complete with rainfall shower head and hand-held combination. Small conveniences- Q-tips and cotton swabs- another detail that was unexpected and much appreciated.Overall the house was very clean, comfortable and felt like home.4 stars instead of 5 for the check in/out process, only because it's a 10 minute drive from the property to the office. The process was seamless besides that. Roads are steep & narrow compared to home. Use GPS directions to find the house. Would recommend to friends and family and definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful place! The lake view from all levels was magnificent! Balconies on every floor. Windows were facing east, so we saw sunrise while mamaw made biscuits. Game room was cool. Plenty of beds for all ..family. Wispace. "

"This house is very beautiful right on the lake with big windows to take in the view even on the bad weather days. This is probably one of the best equipped houses we have stayed at. Only watchout is for little kids and elderly the stairs are very steep and shallow. We will stay here again in the future. We loved it. "

"We wanted to get away from the noise for thanksgiving and be remote and this place was heaven - the kids 11 and 8 loved the separate playing barn - plan to drive 30-40 mins for good food options but if you are cooking and grilling you can be self sufficient - came ass advertised and recommend it to anyone !"
