"We stayed Friday - Sunday and got to see some of the most gorgeous sun rises from the hot tub while we slowly woke up. The neighbors had a golf cart Christmas parade which was so fun to see! The bed was very comfortable and it was just enough space to not overthink anything. We loved our stay and love Eureka! "

We were disappointed that we came at a time when we could not enjoy the wonderful decks, but hopefully we will be back and we can enjoy those in better weather! "We brought our adult kids and their families to Eureka for a weekend getaway and birthday experience for our three grandchildren. The listing was as described but the trip wasn’t without a few issues. We arrived before dark, luckily because the driveway for this unit isn’t marked with any kind of number. We called and happened to be in the right place. The porch light wouldn’t stay on so if arriving after dark it was hard to find. Pans were not suitably sized for a large group. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Instructions to take out the trash and run the dishwasher were clear but no description of where to find the trash dumpster anywhere in the listing. The main issues: Main bedroom mattress is worn out and had lots of dips and bumps. Main bathroom shower had ANTS COMING OUT OF THE SHOWER-HEAD during my shower so we opted to not shower the remainder of the trip. I am not talking about one or two ants. I am talking literal hundreds. In my hair. On my face. All over the shower as they were riding the water down. I ended up getting out and turning the water to only hot water and letting it run for almost 10 minutes. I never felt clean and felt creepy crawlies all night. Likely won’t book again because we stay downtown when it’s just us. I booked hotel lodging initially but the size of our party grew and everything was full by the time I knew I needed to add a room. "
