"The property is huge with a restaurant and a pizza resto, bar, yoga, workspace and beach space. The staff are fairly organized but the cleaning staff are awesome and keep everything very clean, outdoor and in you room. The location is not near anything walkable and the walk from reception to the beach is a fairly long walk. Staff do not really introduce you to the property so it’s on your to figure it out yourself. Less of an organized hostel vibe then other Viajeros. You don’t really know who’s the volunteers are at the hostel. I’d go for the beach, get away from people and somewhat the vibes. "

"We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Perfect relaxing place. Cesar at the desk and Ricardo the Porter were very friendly and helpful. We took the bus 5 minutes to the park entrance and it was very easy. We also took the bus up the other way to the walk/hike to the Enchanted Pools. They organized a good and reasonably price taxi to Cartagena at the end. The beach is also a short walk and you can pay a few dollars for chairs under an umbrella and theres waves but nice to swim there. The hotel can help organize some excursions and we should have done one but were too lazy to decide on one and commit to a time. Other the hotel there aren’t many other places to eat, we did try the cafe at the end of the road (Raíz Cafe) and it had good ice coffee and vegetarian sandwiches. My only recommendation is that the hotel have a few more vegan/vegetarian options with protein for dinner (like even beans, rice, avocado and plátanos would be perfect). And add yogurt for breakfast. "Very friendly, very helpful. When our driver couldn't make it to the Casa to take us to Santa Marta airport for our flight to Bogota, Marisela took us both in our car and drove the hour and 15 minutes to drop us off at the airport. Even though we don't speak much Spanish at all, her entire staff took the effort to communicate with us in English throughout our stay. The location is fantastic and you have the choice of tenting on the beach to common dorm type accomodation to a couple of rooms with attached bathrooms. Just be prepared for the tropical heat and temperature. They do have standing fans in the room, but no AC. Come here to enjoy the beach and the ocean. If you want AC rooms, this is not the place for you. The adjoining swimming pool was also a great bonus."
