"When I arrived, I was told that they didn’t have space for me, and then they just expected that I would leave. I then spent about three hours on the phone with Expedia to find me a replacement room. Needless to say, I didn’t enjoy my experience dealing with this hotel. "

"We were told that the rooms were 538 sq feet along with 32 in TV , it was about 140 sq feet no TV often no hot water no where to sit other than the bed no table or anything to make you comfortable. Another problem was the name Altea Palace was not on display ,in fact when we asked the local police they had never heard the name and sent us a number of miles away"

"Shortly after restrictions are lifted in regard to COVID-19 Villa Iguana is all set to receive guests again. All health & safety measures and protocol are implemented and followed so that we very much enjoyed our short stay this time. "The property was great Fabio and his family were excellent. It is a little far away from anything and cabs are hard to get but I really didn’t try that hard. I found that if I walked to the road there was always someone eating to give me a ride into town on the back of a motorcycle for 200 pesos. Very good value and relaxing cabins are really cool. I enjoyed myself. If you want a nice relaxing time it’s the place if you like to party then it is not a good match. I recommend it for sure. "
