"This is a comfortable, small house on a gravel road in the woods near Blue Mountain State Park. Kitchen is well furnished. Property manager Tori was very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to switch from a/c to heat. A great back deck with shade from big trees. Mostly quiet--an occasional car goes by on a bigger road nearby, and one afternoon there was target practice or fire crackers. A good place to relax and get away, but the wifi works if you want to be connected."

"Cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable and located in a quiet area. I really appreciated the new furniture, layout, and nice size kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything needed to make a few meals. Also, nice touch with the coffee pods, tea, and snacks - thank you! I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Altoona area. "

"We had a great stay. Everything was as described and communication with the Owner was great too. We did receive some automated emails from a previous property manager that was no longer in effect so that was a bit confusing, but did not detract from our experience at all. "Nice home open and everyone loved it "

"We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. "Unfortunately previous guests did not do a good job of cleaning up after their dog in the back field. OTherwise, a very nice and clean place to stay. Price is fair, and the breakfast is good. Staff friendly"
