"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "We had so much fun together at this place. It was very clean and we were thankful for the well stocked kitchen, with plenty of dishes for our group. It was so nice to have many beds for our group. One family took the large room on the first floor and the rest of us were upstairs. The home is slightly dated, but everything worked and we were comfortable. I would suggest some firmer sofas for the sitting room. Some elderly found it hard to get out of them. "

"I went with 23 other girls for a book club retreat and this property was perfect!!! Huge, so many beds, AMAZING amenities, COMFORTABLE beds made up with such care, cozy hot tub, clean pool, games, tons of refrigerator space for food, and huge dining room for gathering! I can not recommend this place or Marcie enough! She is the sweetest host I’ve ever worked with!!"
