"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "Location was perfect and views from the deck were spectacular. Enjoyed quiet mornings with breakfast & coffee on screened porch. Weather was comfortable in order to grill and dine on the deck in the evenings. Kitchen had simple basics but could use some equipment updates and cookware, utensil & stemware additions. Living area and bedroom furniture was dated but sufficient for a short stay."
