"We stayed there at the time of a bad snowstorm when the only restaurant was surprisingly closed, parking lots full of snow and even worse most of the cars were drown in snow the following morning. It's very dangerous just to drive the car out of the parking lot. Breakfast at $14 was not impressive at all. We picked this hotel simply because of the nearby metro station. "Hotel Gouverneur is a beautiful hotel nested on Charron Island. Lovely walking trails. Deer roaming on the island. The interior is a step back in time of 70’s opulence. This was a great find. I will definitely stay there again. A great midway stop heading to New Brunswick."

"LOVED my stay here. I’d choose this place over any fancy hotel any day. Louise (spelling?) was so nice and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. Again, Louise made sure there were options for my 2 year old. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We look forward to visiting again in the future!"
